George Clooney's girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis is the latest celebrity to pose nude for animal right group PETA.
The Italian model and actress says the anti-fur ad she shot was "the best reason why I got naked in my life," the organization said in a statement, adding that the campaign is set to debut in the fall of 2011.
A behind-the-scenes video released by PETA shows Canalis posing nude and later sitting clothed and petting and kissing a black and tan miniature pinscher dog.
"I was a kid, a little girl, and was watching TV at home and they showed a documentary," Canalis said. "And in the documentary I saw how they killed little animals, like electrocuting them, drowning them, bludgeoning them. I was shocked because I was a little girl, but by that moment I thought that I would never, never, never wear fur in my life."
Clooney, who turned 50 on Friday, May 6, and Canalis, who is 32 and has appeared on the show "Leverage" and in the film "Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo," have been dating since 2009.
Other celebrities who have posed naked or semi-nude for PETA include actresses Alicia Silverstone, Pamela Anderson, Kim Basinger and Christina Applegate, models Christy Turlington, Dennis Rodman and Anderson's ex-husband, rocker Tommy Lee.
