The bees buzzed through the area of North Parks Road and Mariposa Lane on Friday.
Officials said the swarm went after one homeowner, stinging him over 20 times.
The bees also went after firefighters who were trying to hose the swarm down and rescue the homeowner.
Two firefighters, an ambulance driver and two children were also stung.
A beekeeper was called in to help corral the bees and remove a hive.
The homeowner was expected to be OK.
