Lady Gaga released the third single off her upcoming album "Born This Way" through her Twitter page on Monday.
The song, called "Edge of Glory," is her follow up to "Judas and can be heard below. According to Entertainment Weekly, the song was co-written by Lady Gaga, Fernando Garibay, and DJ White Shadow.
"Been crying reading all your beautiful messages for my new song. It means so much to ME," Gaga wrote on her official Twitter page, with a link to the single.
As the magazine points out, Gaga said in an interview with Google earlier in the year, that the song was inspired by the death of her grandfather. "The song is about your last moment on earth, the moment of truth, the moment before you leave earth," she said.

"This video is not meant to be an attack on religion. I respect and love everyone's beliefs," Gaga told MTV. "I'm a religious and spiritual person who's obsessed with religious art. I'm obsessed with it... I believe I was put on this earth to cause a ruckus... I just want to keep making stuff that's great and thought-provoking."
On May 11, the singer is on her way to "American Idol" to mentor the final four contestants, the network has confirmed to Entertainment Weekly.
