Jonathan Groff returns to "Glee" on an episode airing on Tuesday, May 10, that will see his character, Jesse St. James, reconnect with his old flame, Rachel Berry.
But will she forgive him? Warning: Spoiler alert!
As OnTheRedCarpet.com reported in March, Groff returns to the FOX musical comedy series for three episodes to once again play James, a member of a rival high school singing group who romanced Berry, played by Lea Michele, and broke her heart.
On Tuesday's episode, James and Berry sing a duet - an a cappella version of Adele's hit 2010 song "Rolling in the Deep." John Legend released a similar cover of the track in March. James also apologizes to Berry for the way he treated her and asks her what she is doing for prom.
Also on the prom-themed episode, Puck, played by Mark Salling, and Artie, portrayed by Kevin McHale, will perform the viral hit "Friday" by Rebecca Black. Its video has racked up over 131 million YouTube views but has been dubbed as one of the worst clips and songs. Black, 13, has even received death threats for it.
The "Glee" prom episode also had a spoiler leak in April thanks to one of the show's former extras, 21-year-old Nicole Crowther. She spilled on the prom king and queen as well as many other important plot points. Crowther said she has since been black-balled and admit she got the spoilers from a friend who was an extra in the episode.
The show's executive producer, Brad Falchuck took to Twitter to call out Crowther, writing: "@nicolecrowther hope you're qualified to do something besides work in entertainment."
