Will Smith is said to be renting a $2 million "monster" trailer in New York City while he films "Men in Black 3."

The double-decker mobile structure, nicknamed "The Heat," is larger than many apartments in the densely-populated metropolis, spanning about 1,150 square feet. It contains a lounge, movie room with a 100-inch screen, marble floors, offices, a bedroom and bathroom, according to the New York Post.

The trailer can reportedly be rented for about $9,000 a week. It is one of several vehicles parked at the location, which also includes a 55-foot trailer said to include a full-sized gym for Smith.

The 42-year-old actor, who plays alien fighter Agent J, is the top-billed actor in "Men In Black 3," which reunites him with Tommy Lee Jones, who portrays Agent K, and also stars Alice Eve, Josh Brolin and Emma Thompson. The movie is set for release on May 25, 2012 and production on it began in September.

Following several complaints by residents, a spokesperson for Sony Pictures Entertainment, the studio producing "Men in Black 3," said "the trailer has been relocated to private property," People magazine reported.

"This trailer has been used many times in this city by different studios on various movies over the years, and while its use has never been an issue before, we regret any inconvenience it may have caused," the magazine quoted the spokesperson as saying. "Film production like ours creates hundreds of jobs and funnels millions of dollars into local businesses and we appreciate the continued support we have received from the community."

The original 1997 "Men in Black" film, based on a comic book series, earned more than $589 million worldwide. Its 2002 sequel was not as well-received but still made $441 million.

Smith has several movies in production and more than three dozen under development, including sequels to "Independence Day," "Hancock," "I, Robot" and "Bad Boys," and a prequel to his 2007 film, "I Am Legend."

It was reported in April that he and son Jaden, who appeared in the 2010 reboot of "The Karate Kid," have signed on to co-star in a science fiction-adventure movie by M. Night Shyamalan. The film takes place 1,000-years in the future and follow a young boy as he searches the abandoned planet Earth, looking for his estranged father after their ship crashes.
