Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton are officially husband and wife.
The country superstars made it official on Saturday night when the two exchanged vows in Boerne, Texas, according to People magazine.
"I'm excited to get married," Lambert, 27, told The Associated Press in a recent interview. "It's been a year almost that we've been engaged. So I'm just sort of ready for it to get here."
The couple has been dating for six years and 34-year-old Shelton proposed in May 2010. It is the first marriage for Lambert while Shelton was married to Kaynette Williams between 2003 and 2006. They had no children.
"We're a really normal couple. We like to back road and hunt and fish. When we're home, we're not in that mode. We're not in work mode, but it's so great to have success together," Lambert told the wire service. "We're best friends, and I can't see myself with anybody else."
According to Us Weekly, Lambert walked down the aisle wearing her mother's wedding dress. Guests included Reba McEntire, Martina McBride, Cee Lo Green, Katherine Heigl and her husband Josh Kelley, and Kelly Clarkson.
As for what the famous guests might have dined on after the ceremony, Lambert's last tweet included a photo of deer cutlets with the caption "Last thing loaded for the wedding!!! Harvested by....me!!!!!"
Lambert is known for her hits song like "The House That Built Me" off her 2009 album "Revolution." Shelton also has a successful country music career with his hits "Hillbilly Bone" and "Austin." Shelton is also a coach on NBC's "The Voice."
In 2010 Shelton and Lambert scored Country Music Association Award statues for male and female vocalists of the year. Lambert recently won a Grammy and multiple trophies at the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas in April.
Lambert told the wire service that she had been getting in shape for the big day since before the Country Music Association Awards in November.
"I've sort of been gradually working down, losing some weight and working out," Lambert said. "I definitely want to be a fit bride. So I'm just trying to keep myself in a good routine, a healthy routine."
