High rainfall to blame for boost in allergies

If you're dealing with some pretty tough allergies these days, you can blame the weather for much of your suffering. The extra rain and snow that hit much of the country is producing a big jump in tree pollen.

If you're dealing with some pretty tough allergies these days, you can blame the weather for much of your suffering.

The Asthma and Allergy Foundation said much of the country got more rain and snow than usual this winter, and that's producing a big jump in tree pollen.

Other areas have flooding, which means more mold.

In Los Angeles, we've been swinging back and forth from rain to heat waves, plus Santa Ana winds - which all adds up to more allergies.
