Kim Cattrall and the movie "The Kids Are All Right" were big winners at GLAAD's 22nd annual Media Awards in San Francisco.

Cattrall, of "Sex and the City" fame, was honored with the Golden Gate Award.

"The Kids Are All Right," starring Annette Bening and Juliane Moore as lesbian mothers, took home the outstanding film trophy.

Other winners included "8: The Mormon Proposition" for documentary, Christian Chavez as Spanish-language music artist, Kara Swisher as local hero and AT&T as corporate leader.

Each year, the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation honors media for accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities.
