Celebrities turned it up to 11 for their performances at KIIS FM's Wango Tango in Los Angeles on Saturday, May 14, 2011, but some went the extra mile, adding bold fashion statements to their stage presence.
Wango Tango is an annual, day-long concert held by Los Angeles radio station KIIS FM. The concert series started in 1998 and invites music's most popular artists to perform.
Jennifer Lopez took the stage in a sparkling web-embroidered body suit. The actress had to deal with a technical glitch during her performance when the sound cut out. "Really?!! The whole sound system goes down," Lopez Tweeted on Saturday, "But ... 'NO ONE HOLDS MOMMA DOWN!!!!' Haha!! LIVE SHOW, SPEAKERS OUT, FUN TIMES!"
Britney Spears stopped by in a geometric-print dress, but didn't perform. Her "Till the World Ends (Remix)" collaborator Ke$ha did perform and, according to MTV, took the stage with a glitter gun.
"Do not spray yourself in the face with it," she told the music channel about the instructions she received for operating the machine. "Do spray everybody else with it. That's pretty much it."
Other performers at the event included Selena Gomez, 'Glee' star Matthew Morrison, Pitbull, T-Pain, Jason Derulo and Pitbull.
