Ex-IMF chief's wife seen leaving NY apartment

NEW YORK

Anne Sinclair left the luxury lower Manhattan high-rise near Wall Street on Sunday morning.

Sinclair has stood by her husband since his arrest last Sunday. /*Strauss-Kahn*/, 62, is accused of sexually assaulting a maid in his suite at Manhattan's Sofitel.

He was released from Rikers Island jail on Friday on $1 million bail plus $5 million bond.

A crowd of international reporters and onlookers stands around the clock outside the apartment building at 71 Broadway where Strauss-Kahn was brought after another building rejected him, fearing a media frenzy.
