Sofia Coppola plans to marry Thomas Mars, a rocker and the father of her two children, in August in Italy, a report says.
The 40-year-old Oscar-winning screenwriter and director and Mars, the 34-year-old singer of the French group Phoenix, will wed in the town of Bernalda at a 19th-century villa called Palazzo Margherita, which is being renovated by her father, director Francis Ford Coppola, People magazine said.
Sofia Coppola's representative had no immediate comment.
She and Mars have two daughters, Romy, 4, and Cosima, 1. The pair met when he recorded a song with the band Air for her 1999 movie "The Virgin Suicides," People said. Mars' music has also been featured in the soundtracks of some of her other projects, such as the 2010 film "Somewhere" and the 2003 movie "Lost In Translation," which earned her an Oscar.
Sofia Coppola was previously married to director Spike Jones between 1999 and 2003. They have no children together.
