Johnson, 59, was murdered during a carjacking near his residence on the 1500 block of Holmes Court. Johnson's green 2006 Ford Explorer was located about three hours later abandoned near Mountain Ave. and D St.
Two Hispanic males were seen running from the SUV.
Ontario Police officers arrested Jon Flores, 29, in Ontario on May 18.
Joseph Arrez, 31, was arrested in Thousand Palms on May 19.
Both suspects have been charged with murder, carjacking and participating with a criminal street gang, according to the San Bernardino County District Attorney's Office.
Both suspects are documented gang members. They were both on parole for drug-related offenses at the time of Johnson's murder, according to police.
