Janice Dickinson, a reality star who touts herself as the "world's first supermodel," wants to give "American Idol" runner-up Lauren Alaina a makeover.

The 16-year-old blonde singer and Georgia native has not responded to Dickinson's offer. The 56-year-old made her comments to OnTheRedCarpet.com at the taping of the season 10 finale on Wednesday. Scotty McCreery, a 17-year-old North Carolina country crooner, was deemed the winner of the FOX singing contest.

Dickinson said he was "amazing" but that she had rooted for Alaina, who is also a country singer.

"I think she's going to follow in the path of Carrie Underwood and have a very, very long career," she told OnTheRedCarpet.com. "I need to help her with her clothes. She needs a makeover from Janice Dickinson."

Underwood, a former "American Idol" winner and a Grammy-winning country star, performed her song "Before He Cheats" with Alaina on the finale.

"I love Carrie, she's amazing," Alaina told OnTheRedCarpet.com and other news outlets after the show. "I got to sing with her - that makes me feel pretty awesome.

She added that she plans to record country music and that Underwood had told her after their performance: "Wow that was incredbile .. we should take that out on the road."

Dickinson is known for her reality shows "The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency," which first aired between 2006 and 2008. She has also served as a judge on Tyra Banks' series "America's Next Top Model" and has appeared on the reality shows "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!" and "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew."

The two-hour "American Idol" finale featured performances by Underwood, this season's contestants, Lady Gaga, Judas Priest, Tim McGraw, Jack Black, Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler, Gladys Knight and Bono, among others. McCreery closed the show with a tearful performance of his first single, "I Love You This Big."

He plans to soon record his first major record and told OnTheRedCarpet.com and other outlets after the show: "I want to go to Nashville and get cracking on this album. The fans want to hear my music, they kept me around, so I think it's my duty to get them the music as quick as possible."

McCreery also addressed rumors that said he and Alaina may be dating. The two shared a brief kiss on stage after he was deemed the winner.

"She's such a sweetheart - we've grown so close," he said. "It's just a special relationship we have."
