Khloe Kardashian has always been candid about her weight and body image issues with the media and on her shows, including "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" and "Khloe & Lamar." Now Kardashian opens up about another battle she's starting to fight with her body: cellulite.
"I've taken pride in myself for being so open about it. My weight is something I've struggled with my entire life and something that I don't think will ever be not an issue of mine, so I think it's good to be open and honest about it," Kardashian told OnTheRedCarpet.com host Rachel Smith in a satellite interview on May 26 to promote the Nivea Good-bye Cellulite, Hello Bikini! Challenge. "But also, I'm someone who likes to be proactive and if you find that you have a problem with something, you need to find what works best for you."
"I'm turning 27 and I think it is age and just, among other things, two years ago, I started getting cellulite and I was like, 'Oh lord, one other body thing now I have to worry about. Cellulite is the devil," she added. "It really is! And now, I'm always searching to be proactive about things."
Kardashian is quick to admit that she knows there's no quick fix for her problem. "It's just about making life changes, which I'm all about because, in reality, there's no magic pill you can take for anything," she said.
Kardashian also talked about her sister Kim's recent engagement to NBA player Kris Humphries and describes the 20.5-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring as "an ice skating rink."
"That ring is gorgeous," Khloe Kardashian said. "She [Kim] needs a security guard with her at all times."
She revealed that Kim's engagement will be seen on the upcoming season of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," which premieres June 12 on E!
No wedding date has yet been announced. This will be the second marriage for Kim Kardashian. She and music producer Damon Thomas wed in 2000, when she was 19 years old. The two divorced in 2004.
Khloe Kardashian teased that the audience of season six of "Keeping up With The Kardashians" will see "two weddings, I can't tell you who, but two weddings on season six."
"The season is crazy and I think when all of us are together it's always just fun, obviously," she added. "We have our fights like family do but it's all love. I think through everything, even when we call each other the worst names that you could ever think of, it's still all about love."
