Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake took advantage of a shared moment on stage at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday to shoot down rumors of a romance, promote their new film "Friends With Benefits" and ... to grope one another.
"Even though we're in the movie 'Friends With Benefits,' Mila and I have never dated," Timberlake, 30, told the audience as he and Kunis prepared to announce the winner of the Best Actor award, which went to "Twilight" actor Robert Pattinson.
"We are like brother and sister," Kunis, 27, said.
"Totally platonic relationship, which is why I can do this," Timberlake said before placing both of his hands on Kunis' chest.
"And it's why I can do this," she responded, placing her hand over the singer and actor's crotch, as many audience members cheered.
The ranchy display of affection was one of many shocking moments seen at the MTV Movie Awards, which also saw Pattinson swear and kiss his co-star Taylor Lautner. Check out more of some of the best moments from the MTV Movie Awards ceremony (Photos).
In "Friends With Benefits," Timberlake and Kunis play friends whose relationship becomes complicated after they decide to become intimate. The film also stars "Saturday Night Live" cast member Andy Samberg, "Spider-Man" actress Emma Stone and Woody Harrelson.
Timberlake, a singer and former member of the boy band N'Sync, recently played Napster co-founder Sean Parker in the Oscar-nominated movie "The Social Network."
Kunis played a manipulative ballerina in "Black Swan." Natalie Portman, who played her adversary, won an Oscar for her role. She also recently starred in the sex comedy "No Strings Attached" with Kunis' co-star from the series "That '70s Show," Ashton Kutcher. The movie's plotline is similar to that of "Friends With Benefits," which is set for release on July 22.
Timberlake's actual personal love life took a tumble in recent months. He and actress Jessica Biel recently broke up after four years of dating. In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Timberlake said Biel remains "the most significant person" in his life.
He and another ex-girlfriend, actress Cameron Diaz, appear in the new movie "Bad Teacher," which comes out on June 24.
