Cameron Diaz laughed off breakup rumors following speculation that she had ended things with her boyfriend New York Yankees baseball player Alex Rodriguez, aka A-Rod.
"If I want to read gossip, I read about somebody else's life," Diaz told Extra. "I can't worry about what other people say. It's fine to say whatever you want as long as you actually don't know what's going on in my life."
On Sunday, the couple arrived at an MTV Movie Award afterparty at the Soho House in Los Angeles and were "very affectionate," a source told Us Weekly.
Rodriguez, who is 35 and one of Major League Baseball's most popular players, and Diaz, 38, have been linked together since July 2010. In November, the two spent time together in Mexico over the Thanksgiving holiday with Rodriguez's two daughters.
The couple also attended the 2011 Super Bowl together and Diaz was videotaped feeding Rodriguez popcorn.
Rodriguez was married to his daughters' mother, Cynthia Scurtis, from 2002 to 2008. In 2010, Rodriguez was also linked to actress Kate Hudson, who has since gotten engaged to Muse singer Matthew Bellamy. They are expecting their first child together.
Diaz next appears in "Bad Teacher" opposite her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake. In the movie, Diaz plays a foul-mouthed junior high teacher who tries to seduce a substitute teacher (Timberlake) after her sugar daddy dumps her. Jason Segel co-stars as the school's gym teacher who has the hots for Diaz's character.
"Bad Teacher" is set for release on June 24, 2011. Watch the trailer below.
