Flo Rida charged with DUI in Miami Beach

MIAMI BEACH, Fla.

According to an arrest report, Flo Rida, whose real name is Tramar Dillard, asked officers to let him walk home after failing a field sobriety test at about 3:45 a.m. Thursday. He blew twice the legal limit on a device to measure his blood-alcohol level.

The report stated that the rapper had blood-shot eyes and slurred speech. Authorities said he told officers he'd had a few drinks and didn't think he could walk a straight line.

A crowd apparently gathered and one fan even offered to give him a ride home.

The 31-year-old rapper was charged with DUI and driving with a suspended license. He was being held on $2,000 bond.

His debut song, the party jam "Low," and "Right Round" both hit the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
