Daniel Fragoso is a former soldier who served in Afghanistan and Iraq. He's been away since October working as a contractor for the military.
His wife wanted to do something special, so they wrapped daddy in a giant gift box.
"It's a big sacrifice on us every single day, waking up without him, going to bed without him, missing volunteering. I'm here a lot at her school volunteering and that's a big deal that he can't be there with us," said Fragoso's wife, Rachel.
Fragoso said he wants to create memories for his family so they remember the "milestones," and not the "miles," when he's away.
