Daughters plead for info in Palmdale murder

PALMDALE, Calif.

McCray, a real estate agent, was reportedly shot while picking up mail outside his residence.

"It's sad that we have to celebrate Father's Day like this, because I already had a card for my dad, and he'll never see it," said Cigi Alex, one of McCray's daughters. "Nobody should have to go through that. I had to tell my daughter this morning that her grandfather passed away."

"He didn't have any enemies. He's amazing. He's a Shriner. He's a good person," said one of McCray's daughters, Remi McCray.

Investigators have not determined a motive in the death.

McCray shared his home with his mother, who he took care of.

"If anybody knows anything, you need to tell somebody, please, because this ain't right," said Remi. "This is not right."
