Gene Simmons and his longtime girlfriend Shannon Tweed's reality show drama is spilling over to their press interviews for the show.
During an appearance on HLN's "The Joy Behar Show," which is set to air on Wednesday, Tweed walked out of the interview in the middle of taping after Simmons joked about the amount of women he has slept with. The clip can be seen below. (Warning: Contains explicit language.)
Simmons and Tweed have been dating for at least 28 years. Simmons is a singer and bass player in the band KISS, while Tweed is a former Playboy Playmate and actress who had a recurring role on "Days of our Lives." The couple has two children together, Nicholas, 22, and Sophie, 18. The family is featured on the A&E reality series "Gene Simmons Family Jewels."
The six season of the reality show kicks off on June 14 at 10 p.m. The couple's arguments about Simmons' wandering eye have been featured in promotional clips for the series.
During the interview on Behar's show, Tweed pulls off Simmons' glasses and calls him a pig. Shortly after a clip is shown from the premiere, Simmons says, "We belong together and the fact that she stuck by me for 28 years, warts and all."
Behar questions Simmons on his "philandering ways" and the singer admits to cheating in the past.
Tweed asks, "In the last, what month? Month?"
"No," Simmons responds after Behar asks the same question.
Behar then showed a clip from an interview she did with Alice Cooper in which they discuss Simmons' claim that he's slept with 5,000 women. Simmons then makes a joke about the claim which causes Tweed to storm off.
Behar admits that she thought the couple was putting on an act for their show, but Simmons says, "No, this is actually happening to us."
On Monday, the couple also had an awkward exchange on "The Today Show." Simmons referenced both of his interview on his Twitter account.
Meanwhile, Tweed addressed a few Twitter users who accused the two of putting on an act to promote their show.
"NOT BS! No relationship is perfect. We hit a rough patch and we're showing it.Working it out.Watch or not," Tweed wrote on her Twitter page Tuesday. She also apologized to Joy Behar on Monday writing, "So sorry @JoyVBehar ! Guess I'm a little sensitive."
