OTRC: Tori Spelling and kids are 'doing fine' after car accident

Tori Spelling says that she and her two children are "doing fine" after getting into a car accident in Los Angeles on Monday while allegedly trying to get away from paparazzi.

"Paparazzi chased me w/the kids 2school," Spelling, 38, said on her Twitter page on Monday, June 13. "I was trying to get away from him and had a pretty big accident. Took down whole wall of school."

Spelling, who is pregnant, took to her Twitter page once again on Tuesday, June 14 to update her followers on the situation. "Thank U all so much 4 all ur concern & kind words following our car accident. We R doing fine," she wrote. "And, went to dr and all ok. Baby kickin away :)"

Spelling and her children, Liam, 4, and Stella, 2, were not hurt. The television show "Access Hollywood" quoted a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson as saying the accident happened around 10 a.m. local time and that Spelling struck a curb.

People magazine quoted one of Spelling's friends as saying that the photographer followed the family into the school's driveway and that she hit the wall while trying to get away from the person, adding that the crash caused minor damage to both her vehicle and the wall of the school.

Spelling, who rose to fame as a teen star in the drama series "Beverly Hills, 90210," and her husband Dean McDermott are expecting their third child this fall. The two star in their own reality show "Tori & Dean: sTORIbook Weddings," which airs on the Oxygen network.
