Seven members of a local street gang have been charged with allegedly kidnapping and beating a /*Los Angeles*/ man. During a preliminary hearing, the victim claimed he told O'Neal he had a sex tape showing O'Neal with a woman who was not his wife. The basketball star was separated from his wife at the time.
Investigators said there currently is "nothing" to connect O'Neal with the alleged kidnapping.
They also said there is "no evidence" that a sex tape actually exists.
O'Neal has not commented.
The preliminary hearing on the case continues in July.
