On Thursday, Kelly Osbourne Tweeted that her Pomeranian dog, Noodles, had to be put to sleep. After the dog suffered a seizure on Tuesday, it was revealed through a brain scan that the dog was born with a brain defect.

"My poor baby girl noodles is sick," the singer and actress wrote on Twitter on June 14. "She had a seizure & they don't know why I'm taking her to see a specialist 2 hours away for a brain scan."

"Noodles is not going to make it," she later updated her followers on Wednesday. "She was born with a brain defect and i have to put her to sleep today im devastated. i just cant believe it."

When asked by a follower if putting the dog to sleep was necessary, Osbourne wrote, "she was not in peace; her brain was swelling in her head. I DON'T PLAY GOD! it was an unfortunate necessary!"

Osbourne first welcomed Noodles in March 2011 and introduced the puppy in a Tweet that read, "this is my new dog noodles aka noody bear."

This is the second dog Osbourne has lost within a year. Last July, shortly after she broke things off with former fianc? Luke Worrall, her Pomeranian puppy Woody died.

The 26-year-old singer, actress and co-host has, in recent years, evolved from a foul-mouthed teenager on her rocker father Ozzy's reality show "The Osbournes" into a fashion icon. She is one of the panelists on the E! series "Fashion Police," critiquing celebrities' fashion choices. Osbourne also has her own fashion label.

She was the face of the Spring 2011 collection of Madonna's Material Girl line, replacing Taylor Momsen.
