So he set up a surveillance camera and caught "Daisy" the cow using her tongue to open not just one, but two bolts on the gate.
"I thought maybe there was a bit of rustling in the area," said farmer Tom Grant. "I thought maybe there was boys about during the night, maybe trying to steal one of them."
There weren't any rustlers, just an escape-artist cow with a very nimble tongue. Grant says for anyone who thinks cows are dumb, this ought to prove otherwise.
