Bristol Palin took aim at her ex-boyfriend and the father of her child, Levi Johnston, in her upcoming memoir "Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far," calling him "the gnat" and detailing how she lost her virginity to him while drunk on wine coolers.
The 20-year-old, who is the daughter of Republican ex-governor of Alaska Sarah Palin, referred to her ex as "the gnat named Levi Johnston (who's) constantly spreading false accusations against our family," according to the Associated Press. She also calls the aspiring politician a self-involved slacker "who cheated on me about as frequently as he sharpened his hockey skates."
Palin detailed losing her virginity to Johnston on a camping trip after getting drunk for the first time on too many wine coolers and waking up in a tent with no memory of the incident while Johnston bragged about it outside with his friends.
After her first time, Palin says Johnston promised they wouldn't do it again until marriage. The couple didn't follow through with the agreement and despite being on birth control, prescribed for cramps, Palin became pregnant.
She wrote that Johnston's reacted by saying only, "better be a (expletive) boy."
Palin was engaged to Johnston, 20, in 2008 and gave birth to Tripp that December at age 18. The two called then off their engagement, became engaged again in July 2010 and broke up weeks later. Their son Tripp is 2 years old.
The memoir, which was co-written with Nancy French, is scheduled for publication by William Morrow next week.
Meanwhile, Johnston, plans to tell his side of the story with his own book, "Deer in the Headlights: My Life in Sarah Palin's Crosshairs," which is scheduled for publication this fall. Palin is a public speaker on abstinence and teen pregnancy. Bristol makes between $15,000 and $30,000 for each appearance and made headlines in January when students at Washington University protested her high appearance fee.
Palin recently listed her new five-bedroom home in Arizona for rent, months after she purchased it since she and her son Tripp are gearing up to move in with actor Kyle Massey and his brother Christopher for a BIO Channel reality show with that is being shot in Los Angeles and is set to air later this year. The two were contestants on ABC's "Dancing With The Stars" last year.
The BIO cable channel had said in a statement to OnTheRedCarpet.com on May 9 that it has ordered 10 half-hour episodes of the series, which has yet to be named and which follows the single mother's journey from Alaska to Los Angeles and her work at a charity.
Palin and Massey became "extremely close" while they appeared on the 11th season of "Dancing With The Stars" last year, the BIO channel statement said.
Massey, 19, is known for his roles on Disney Channel shows such as "That's So Raven." His brother Christopher, 21, starred on the Nickelodeon series "Zoey 101." Massey placed second on the ABC ballroom dancing series, while Bristol Palin came in third. Jennifer Grey took home the trophy.
