OTRC: Alyssa Campanella, Miss USA 2011 winner - exclusive interview and details on her 'Tudors' boyfriend

Alyssa Campanella, Miss USA talks to OnTheRedCarpet.com in her first interview after being crowned.

Alyssa Campanella, who won the 2011 Miss USA pageant on Sunday night, representing California, caught up with OnTheRedCarpet.com in her only one-on-one interview from the evening.

Campanella was still overwhelmed when she talked to OnTheRedCarpet.com co-host Rachel Smith, who was Miss USA in 2007.

"I'm over-shocked right now," she said.

In a previous interview, the Miss California contestant said that she had driven to Las Vegas for the event and was considering making her move to New York into a road trip reality show.

"A couple of the girls that I became friends with were like, oh let's just hop in Kelly's car, we're just gonna drive - we'll make it a road trip!" Campanella told OnTheRedCarpet.com. "Then we were like hmm, which network would we want to pitch that for a reality show - four beauty queens driving to New York!"

As Miss USA, the 21-year-old will represent the United States in the upcoming Miss Universe pageant, which will be held in São Paulo, Brazil on September 12. The beauty queen is already trying to find the best way to make an entrance at the event.

"I don't like boats," Campanella said. "I'm gonna teleport! How about that? I'll teleport everything!

In her previous interview, she also said she has continued eating cake and ice cream during the pageant preparations. In her press conference following the pageant, Campanella said that she wants her friends at home in Sherman Oaks to know that she needs some chocolate cake upon her arrival. When asked which celebrity she would like to meet, the beauty queen kept it cake-related.

"I would love to meet Buddy Valastro of 'Cake Boss' because I love to bake cakes and he's an Italian and acts like I do in the kitchen, so I think we would mesh well!"

Campanella also referred to herself as a history buff and hinted that she would love to star in a TV show following Mary Stuart, Queen of Scots who was executed for treason in 1587.

"I'm obsessed with the Stuart and Tudor era," Campanella said during the pageant. "Whenever I go to Barnes & Noble I'm always in the history section and that is where you will find me. I watch 'Game of Thrones,' I watched 'Camelot' - I know those are fantasy but I also watch 'The Tudors,' so I'm a huge history geek."

During the press conference, Campanella said she was in a relationship and it came out that her boyfriend is actor Torrance Coombs, who starred in Showtime's "The Tudors." Miss USA posted a photo on Twitter of the couple together at an after party (see below) on Sunday with the caption, "I still look overwhelmed."

Campanella topped a field of 51 beauty queens to take the title of Miss USA at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Miss Tennessee Ashley Durham was the first runner-up. Contestants from Alabama and Texas placed third and fourth.

Campanella replaces Miss USA 2010 Rima Fakih. The Michigan woman teared up as she walked across the stage for a final goodbye.

Campanella later Tweeted about her big win, saying, "I can't believe I won!!! A big thank you to all my supporters... I couldn't have done it without you all!!"
