Four more cases of West Nile Virus have been confirmed in dead birds found in Los Angeles County.

Birds found dead in Cerritos, Baldwin Park, Covina and West Covina tested positive for the virus in 2011.

Residents in those areas and across the Southland are being urged to clear out standing water to cut down on the spread of mosquitoes and thus, hopefully, the deadly virus.
