Jennifer Aniston got her first tattoo recently and revealed it in New York while on the town on Friday.
The 42-year-old actress sported ink on the inside of her foot and the tattoo, according to People magazine, features the name "Norman," a reference to her late Welsh corgi-terrier mix who died in May at the age of 15.
"Really, the most unconditional form of love that you can encounter is with a dog," Aniston told Allure in January. "They're excited the minute you come home, and they show the same amount of excitement every day. They're loyal, and they're always, always faithful."
When asked by host James Lipton during recent taping of her episode of "Inside the Actors Studio" what her favorite word was, Aniston reportedly replied, "Norman."
She described Norman as "a little bit skeptical. He's extremely wise, and ruffled by nothing. Not much impresses Norman." The actress recently purchased a new home in New York under the name Norman's Nest Trust, after her dog, according to the New York Observer.
Aniston also has another dog, a 4-year-old white German shepherd named Dolly. Check out a video of Aniston with Norman during an appearance on "Chelsea Lately" in February below.
Meanwhile, Aniston does have a new man in her life, 39-year-old actor and writer Justin Theroux. Photographer Terry Richardson gave fans a glimpse of the happy couple snuggling in New York last week.
