When we last left Bon Temps' star-crossed love birds, human Hoyt and vampire Jessica, on "True Blood" last season, the two decided to take their relationship to the next level by moving in together. The two even began to talk about marriage.
"This may be my favorite season. Exclusive scoop for you! I love this season," series sat Deborah Ann Woll, who plays Jessica, told OnTheRedCarpet.com host Chris Balish at the recent season 4 premiere in Los Angeles. "I'm so surprised by it and I loved everything I got to do."
Woll says that her character's decision to move in with Hoyt was "crazy. It's wonderful and hard." She adds, "I hope they make it."
Like many of the "True Blood" stars, the actress remained tight-lipped about any other developments for her character in the upcoming season. When asked what she tells friends and family members about the show, Woll replied, "I tell them nothing. I tell them absolutely nothing." She adds, "I tell them to brace themselves and that I will warn them when inappropriate things come on screen."
The series, which has become a hit for HBO, is known for going all out on both violence and sex and Woll says that is what she loves about it. "It's why I love doing cable, it's why I love working with [series creator] Alan Ball and some of our other writers. Who are willing to push the envelope a bit," she said.
"I read everything," Woll says, referring to new scripts. "I think they do an excellent job of really creating a thematic arc for the episode so sometimes I can learn a lot about my character through reading other people's scenes. "
The fourth season of "True Blood" is said to loosely follow the event of the fourth novel in "The Southern Vampire Mysteries" series, which the show is based off of, called "Dead to the World." Season 4 of "True Blood" is set to kick off on June 26 on HBO.
