British researchers say they may have found a diet that can help turn around type-2 diabetes. It's an experimental diet that limits calories to 600 a day.

Diabetes patients were on the severely restricted diet for eight weeks.

By the end, all 11 patients taking part lost weight, and seven no longer had diabetes.

Doctors believe the diet reduces fat around the pancreas, which may help the body return to making insulin.

But experts warn the drastic diet should not be done without medical supervision.
