Tobey Maguire fights back against poker controversy

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif.

Maguire's attorney has denied any wrongdoing. His attorney says that if the "Spiderman" star pays anything back to Ponzi scheme investors, it should be reduced by the amount Maguire lost during the high stakes poker matches that were run by the man convicted of orchestrating the scheme.

A bankruptcy trustee has sued Maguire and 21 others, demanding they return over $4 million allegedly won in the poker games.
