According to a new study, cuddling and caressing help boost satisfaction in long-term relationships.
The study by the Kinsey Institute also found that tenderness is more important to men than to women, and that men are more likely to report that they're happy in their relationship. Researchers said they found women to be more likely to be satisfied with their sexual relationship.
The study included more than 1,000 couples from the United States, Brazil, Germany, Japan and Spain who'd been together for an average of 25 years.
The study is published in the August issue of the Archives of Sexual Behavior.
