LAPD searches for North Hills shooting suspects

LOS ANGELES

The 18-year-old victim walked out of his apartment building shortly after 8 p.m. on June 18 and confronted a man who was tagging the building. At that time, a second suspect approached, pulled out a gun and opened fire.

The victim was hit in the torso but managed to stumble back into his apartment. He was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. He is now listed in stable condition.

The two suspects ran to a waiting truck and fled the area. The shooter was described as a Hispanic male, 20-25 years old, between 5 feet 8 and 5 feet 10, about 225 pounds, with a shaved head. The second suspect, who was tagging the building, was described as a Hispanic male, 17-20 years old, about 5 feet 8, 120 pounds, with black hair.
