OTRC: Jonah Hill shows off slimmer look and says losing weight isn't 'fun' - See photos

Actor Jonah Hill appeared at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Brits to Watch event in Los Angeles on Saturday showing off a slimmer look.

Hill was at the event, which the Royal couple attended as well, and explained to the Los Angeles Times what sparked his change.

The actor, who just finished filming a movie based on the television series "21 Jump Street" with Channing Tatum, said losing weight was "not fun." He added, "I wouldn't say it's the most fun endeavor I've ever took on in my life -- but it's important. And I'm enjoying it."

He continued, "If I eat something unhealthy now, I kind of feel a little weird and my body hurts."

In the photos above, Hill can be seen on the left at the "Milk + Bookies Story Time Celebration" literacy awareness event in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010. On the right, Hill can be seen at the inaugural BAFTA Brits to Watch 2011 event at the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles, Saturday, July 9, 2011.

The "21 Jump Street" film is due for release on March 16, 2012. Aside from Tatum and Hill, others set to star in the new movie are Rob Riggle, DeRay Davis, Dave Franco, Jake Johnson, Brie Larson, who will portray the female lead, and Ice Cube, who will play the police captain.

Johnny Depp's publicist confirmed to OnTheRedCarpet.com back in April that the actor will have a small cameo in the film. His role was not revealed. The 47-year-old actor played Officer Tom Hanson on the 1980s cop series, which helped make him famous.

"21 Jump Street" the television show also featured Holly Robinson Peete of the CBS show "The Talk" as well as Peter DeLuise and depicted young officers going undercover, often in high schools. Michael Bendetti was cast in the lead role following Depp's departure before the fifth and final season began in 1991.
