Juliette Lewis has joined NBC's upcoming legal drama "The Firm," which is based off of John Grisham's novel.

The series also stars Josh Lucas, who will portray lawyer Mitchell McDeere. Lewis is slated to take on the role of Tammy, McDeere's "feisty, sexy receptionist, whose work life is made all the more tumultuous by her on-again, off-again relationship with Mitch's brother," reports Entertainment Weekly.

The role of Mitch's brother will go to "The Killing" actor Callum Keith Rennie. The drama starts shooting in the fall and will debut on NBC midseason.

"The Firm" was also adapted to a 1993 movie, which starred Tom Cruise and Holly Hunter. Hunter earned an Oscar nomination for her portrayal of Tammy.

Earlier in the week, "Harry Potter" actor Rupert Grint told "Regis and Kelly" that Lewis is the actor's celebrity crush.

Lewis is best known for her work in "Natural Born Killers," "From Dusk Till Dawn" and "What's Eating Gilbert Grape." She will next appear opposite Blake Lively, Alec Baldwin and Juliette Lewis in "Hick."
