Study: Women more likely to 'sext' than men

LOS ANGELES

A new study from the University of Nebraska suggests women are more likely to send nude photographs or sexually explicit text messages than men.

About two-thirds of women in the survey said they have sexted, while only about half the men surveyed said they have done it.

Researchers say they don't believe the Internet is causing people to cheat. They say there seems a problem with the institution of marriage which is a much bigger social issue.

More than 5,000 people participated in the online survey.
