Kristen Stewart talked to OnTheRedCarpet.com about her character's "brutal" two-day labor process in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" at San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday, July 21.
"It was a two-day labor process, it was really brutal!" Stewart told OnTheRedCarpet.com co-host Rachel Smith. "Yeah, it was two days - it was hardcore, it was really fun though."
The final installment of the "Twilight" franchise, "Breaking Dawn" sees Stewart's character marrying Cullen, turning into a vampire and giving birth to their child, Renesmee.
"This one does sort of take everything that we've built up in the last two movies and sort of finished the circle," Stewart told OnTheRedCarpet.com. "Everything does come to fruition so it was the most intimidating and daunting out of the whole series. So much happens -- I mean they get finally get married, you're not worried that they're going to breakup anymore, but now they're having marital... they have to figure out how to live together in a more adult way."
Stewart, 21, and Pattinson, 25, play lovers Bella and Edward in the vampire romance movies and have long been the target of dating rumors but have not confirmed a relationship.
In March, "Twilight" director Catherine Hardwicke said that when she cast Pattinson, it was "love at first sight" between Stewart and the British actor.
In November, the first image from "Breaking Dawn" was posted online and showed Bella's hand on a bed clutching feathers. In a scene from the books, the couple's lovemaking during their honeymoon becomes so frantic that they break the headboard on their bed and Cullen bites through a down pillow.
"Breaking Dawn" is directed by Bill Condon and its first part is set to be released on November 18, 2011. The second installment is scheduled to hit theaters on Nov. 16, 2012.
Meanwhile, you can check out a teaser for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1," which features a sneak peak of Bella's wedding dress.
