Sixteen roller coaster enthusiasts went on a coaster marathon for charity at Knott's Berry Farm on Sunday.

They group rode the steel Jaguar coaster for 10 hours to raise money for Give Kids the World, a non-profit organization that provides family vacations for children with life-threatening illnesses.

Those who took the long ride said it was well worth the pain to their backsides.

"After about four, it kind of hurts your tush," Jermaine Dyer said. "Just glad to be doing this to help the kids travel all over the world."

The charity has helped 100,000 children's dreams come true.
