Virginia boy writes book to pay for service dog

ALEXANDRIA, Va.

Seven-year-old Evan Moss has epilepsy and his family needs $13,000 to get him a service dog. His sister came up with the idea of selling Evan's book, "My Seizure Dog," to raise the funds.

Hundreds of people turned out for a book signing to help.

"Most of the people here are part of the seven years we've been dealing with this," said Evan's father Rob.

"There's a lot of people here we know, but the majority of the people in this line we've never met," said the boy's mother Lisa.

Evan not only wrote the book, but he also did the illustrations.
