2 of Michael Jackson's brothers oppose tribute concert

LOS ANGELES

Some family members joined promoters in Beverly Hills Monday to help announce the concert, set to be held in Wales.

It will raise money for three of the late singer's favorite charities, including AIDS Project Los Angeles.

Brothers Jermaine and Randy Jackson released a statement opposing the show, because it will be held during the criminal trial of Dr. Conrad Murray.

The lineup of performers is yet to be released to the public.

"After I was told the names of some of the world's biggest artists that would perform, I knew it would be a show fit for a king. So if my son was here today, he would feel the same way," said Katherine Jackson.

The concert, "Michael Forever: The Tribute Concert," is set for Oct. 8.
