While boy band like New Kids on The Block and Backstreet Boys have reunited, gone on tour, and recorded new music, singer Kelly Rowland says that there are no plans in works for Destiny's Child to do the same.
Rowland spoke to Billboard magazine about her latest album "Here I Am" and when the topic of reunion rumors came up, the singer said, "To be honest with you -- myself, Michelle [Williams] and B [Beyonce] -- we haven't talked about it. It has not come up in our conversations."
She added, "We talk about everything else... But we haven't talked about that yet."The group has been on a break since 2005 and each singer has released several solo albums. Rowland's third solo effort, "Here I Am," hits stores on Tuesday.
The singer also said the women are happy to work on their own projects. "It's just really great that we're all doing different things and we're all happy in our space," Rowland tells Billboard.
The first single off Rowland's new album "Motivation," a collaboration with rapper Lil Wayne, has hit No. 1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Billboard chart. "One of the best parts of this album is the fact that there was nothing holding me back," Rowland told the magazine. "The only thing that could have been holding me back would be myself."
