OTRC: 'The Bachelorette' Ashley Hebert made her final decision

Ashley Hebert, Ben F. and J.P. appears in a promotional still from 'The Bachelorette.'

Ashley Hebert made one of the biggest decisions of her life on season seven of "The Bachelorette" and on Monday, her choice was revealed.

On the ABC series, Hebert had to offer her final rose to one of the two remaining bachelors, Ben Flajnik, a 28-year-old winemaker from California and JP Rosenbaum, a 34-year-old construction manager from New York City. (Warning: spoilers ahead)

Both men confessed their love and offered their engagement rings before Hebert announced her final decision.

In the end, Hebert offered her final rose to JP Rosenbaum, who had proposed with a beautiful Neil Lane engagement ring. The two sealed the engagement with a kiss, on a beach in the picturesque Fiji.

Hebert wore a beautiful hand-stitched crystal and ostrich feather gown designed by Randi Rahm, which reportedly cost $16,790, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

During the episode, both J.P. and Ben F. met Hebert's family. Drama started when Hebert's sister Chrystie told Hebert she didn't see J.P. as a good fit. The two sisters argued in what ABC dubbed "a sensation fight" and J.P. was later offered a laundry list of reasons why Chrystie thought he wasn't right for Hebert.

When Ben F. met the family the following day, tension was still in the air but he won over Chrystie with his charm. For their final date Ben F. and Hebert took a romantic helicopter ride over Fiji.

Hebert, a 27-year-old dental student from Maine, placed third on the 15th season of the ABC dating show "The Bachelor" and was brought back to the reality world to become the seventh season bachelorette.

Before the season began back in May, Hebert told OnTheRedCarpet.com host Rachel Smith about her final "Bachelorette" decision, "I think I made a good decision for me and I'm really happy with how everything turned out for me."
