The "Jeopardy!" host said he awoke to find the burglar in his room at the Marriot Marquis last week. He ruptured his Achilles tendon chasing her.
Lucinda Moyers, 56, has been charged with felony burglary and possession of stolen property.
She's accused of stealing cash and jewelry from the room.
Moyers has two prior burglary convictions and could be facing a third strike.
She is scheduled back in court on Aug. 15 to set a preliminary hearing date.
