Tony Curtis' art collection to be sold at auction

LOS ANGELES

Among the items for sale are original artwork by Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Henry Miller and Curtis himself, according to Darren Julien, president of Julien's Auctions. Pottery and prints by Picasso are expected to fetch more than $3,000 each.

Fans can purchase paintings and ceramics by Curtis, as well as memorabilia from the actor's many movies, including the sailor jacket he wore during a kissing scene with Marilyn Monroe in "Some Like It Hot."

The items will be on view at Julien's Auctions in Beverly Hills beginning Sept. 6. The auction will be held on Sept. 17.
