Former Bell city administrator Robert Rizzo's pension has been slashed dramatically along with other top-paid local government administrators.

Rizzo, who is charged in a corruption scandal, will now get about $50,000 a year, down from more than the $1 million a year he was set to receive from CalPERS and the city of Bell.

The state retirement board has found Rizzo and about 330 other highly-paid government officials will have their pensions reduced because an audit discovered errors in their pension packages.
