Jennifer Hudson has continued to slim down since becoming an ambassador for Weight Watchers a year and a half ago and is a size zero now, according to "The View" co-host Joy Behar.
"I was in a store shopping, looking for a dress and I suddenly say 'Oh there's somebody I know' and it was Jennifer Hudson and she was shopping and she said 'I know you,'" Behar said on the morning talk show. "Then I heard the sales girl say to her 'You're a size 0' and I said to Jennifer 'How does that feel?' and she said 'I feel like they're talking to someone else.'"
Several entertainment sites have responded to the report, either wondering if the Oscar-winner has gotten too skinny or claiming that the singer is not in fact a size zero.
The former "American Idol" finalist and Oscar-winning actress is a spokeswoman for "Weight Watchers" and in January, she told Oprah Winfrey that she has lost 80 pounds, going from a size 16 to a size 6 through diet and exercise.
"I've cooked all my meals at home, when I work out I do what I like to do, I don't believe in overdoing myself," Hudson said on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" in February. "It's all about self motivation because at the end of the day you can have all the money and all the personal trainers in the world, but if you don't have that mindset it's not possible... You have to do it for yourself."
In January, Hudson told USA Today that part of the impetus to lose weight was to be a good influence for her son and she feels like she's gotten her life back.
"Instead of saying I lost this or that, I feel like I gained 10 years of my youth back," Hudson said. "I look 10 years younger. People say to me, 'You have Jennifer Hudson's face. Are you her little sister?'"
Hudson, who won an Oscar for her role in the 2006 film "Dreamgirls," plans to discuss her weight loss secrets in an upcoming memoir.
Hudson's sophomore album "I Remember Me" hit shelves in March. Hudson competed on the third season of "American Idol" and finished in seventh place.
"I Remember Me" is the follow-up to the 29-year-old's 2008 album, "Jennifer Hudson," which won a Grammy Award and has sold more than 800,000 copies. The record features songs written and produced by Alicia Keys, her husband Swizz Beatz, Rich Harrison, Ne-Yo and Stargate.
Hudson got engaged to WWE wrestler and Harvard Law School graduate David Otunga in 2008, the couple has yet to announce a wedding date and welcomed their son David Daniel Otunga Jr. on August 10, 2009.
