Rose McGowan recently sold her Los Feliz home and the "Charmed" actress revealed on "Chelsea Lately" this week, that it might have been with the help of pot brownies.
McGowan told host Chelsea Handler that her assistant left a plate of the edibles on her kitchen counter and the actress thought nothing of it until she got a call from her real estate agent.
"There were eight realtors and inspectors coming to the house and you have to get out of your house if you're showing it and I notice there's a big, huge plate of brownies that said 'Enjoy!' on the surround-wrap and I just left, I didn't think about it," McGowan told Handler on Tuesday's episode.
"At 4:30 that afternoon, I get a call from my realtor saying, 'Um, I'm at my parent teacher conference, was there anything in those brownies?'" McGowan continued. "I'm imagining all these poor people... high as a kite, like, 'What the hell happened in Hollywood?'"
McGowan eventually sold her 4-bedroom home for $1.7 million in May, after believing she was allergic to something in the 1928 property. When she moved to a home she "loathed," McGowan found that she was in fact allergic to her down pillows.
The actress said she tried to buy back the home from the new owner, who is reportedly Paul McCartney's manager, but that he would only sell for much more than he paid. He has not commented. (Check out photos of the property).
McGowan's breakout role was that of young witch Paige Matthews in the WB drama series "Charmed." She joined the show in 2001, replacing cast member Shannen Doherty. "Charmed" ended its run in 2006.
McGowan stars in the new "Conan the Barbarian" film reboot, which is set for release on August 19. In the film, which is a remake of a 1982 Arnold Schwarzenegger fantasy film, McGowan plays the villain Marique, a witch and the daughter of an evil warlord.
