"Dancing With The Stars" co-host Brooke Burke, 39, and actor David Charvet,39, got married on August 12, 2011 in St. Barts after a five year engagement.
Burke's rep confirmed the news to People magazine and the host hinted at her news on Twitter on Saturday morning, writing, "morning tweeties. Waiting for LA to wake up... big news to share."
Burke and Charvet are parents to son Shaya Braven, 3, and daughter Heaven Rain, 4. Burke is also mom to daughters Sierra Sky, 9 and Neriah, 11, from her previous marriage to plastic surgeon Garth Fisher, who she divorced in 2006
"When the subject of marriage came up the other day, we started talking about why to do it at this point in our relationship," Burke wrote in her blog in May. "We have a home together, 2 kids together, my other 2 that David is helping raise, and we are totally married in our hearts. 'Do you want forever?' David asked. 'Yes, I need forever' I said. It was just that simple. I would like to have a 'Husband.'"
Before she began hosting "Dancing With The Stars" in 2010, Burke appeared as a contestant and won the seventh season of the ABC dancing competition with partner Derek Hough. Aside from her "Dancing With The Stars" duties, Burke also runs the parenting blog ModernMom.com and wrote "The Naked Mom."
Charvet has had recurring roles on TV series like "Baywatch" and "Melrose Place." The French actor previously dated Israeli model Bar Refaeli and actress Tori Spelling.
