Jennifer Logan was in a car with two other people near the intersection of Webb Avenue and Roscoe Boulevard when shots were fired at about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Logan was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition and died later from her injuries. A 23-year-old man was also shot. He was taken to a hospital, where he was listed in stable condition. A third person in the car was not injured.
No suspect description was released.
The two passengers in the car were not identified. Authorities are unsure if the victims were targeted.
