Frances Bean Cobain, the only child of Courtney Love and late Nirvana singer Kurt Cobain, is gaining more notice on the web for her latest photo shoot.
Cobain is seen in a new set of photos from Los Angeles Times photographer Rocky Schenck, which are a softer contrast from the stark black and white photos she appeared in for her photo shoot with Hedi Slimane.
In the color photos, Cobain is shown with red hair and clothes that have a mix of noir style and vintage glam. Cobain's bright blue eyes are the focus of several soft looking shots. MTV has the full photo set up on their website.
Bean turned 19 on Thursday. Cobain debuted her own artwork in July 2010 at Los Angeles' La Luz De Jesus Gallery, using the pseudonym Fiddle Tim. The somewhat dark drawings depicted characters like punk rock singer GG Allin and cult leader Jim Jones.
Cobain has a strained relationship with her mother Courtney Love, who lost custody in 2009 and took to Twitter to accuse Frances of 'destroying' her. The teenager may inherit millions from a fund set up shortly after her father's death, when she was just 20 months old.
Meanwhile, in 2010 Love was sued by a management firm for $1 million after selling a portion of Cobain's band Nirvana's catalog for $20 million. Cobain commit suicide in Seattle on April 8, 1994 at the age of 27. Nirvana is known for hits such as "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and "Come As You Are."
Despite the success of Nirvana and Love's band Hole, Love has had a long history of debt and drug abuse.
